  • Geeez! Not sure what exam hall venue you go to but in Hartford there is not that much background noise. I wear earplugs too but even without, wherever this Proctor track was recorded I feel bad for whoever goes there. It's very distracting.

Hey Googs, I suppose you could turn down the volume to meet your exam hall conditions. Also, @300hours if the proctor track was available separate from the hall track (like the Hall ambiance is separate from the combined). Then you could play both files in separate instances on a computer, or on separate devices, or what-have-you. That way you can turn the Hall ambiance down to your volume level of exam hall, but keep the volume up for the proctor announcements. In tiny exam halls there were 20 people in a carpeted sound absorbing presentation room for Level III last year, if the proctors whispered (like when someone leaves for a bathroom break) everyone would hear them. A very different experience than an echoing loud speaker Proctor and 4000 pencils scratching, pages turning, and noses sneezing, etc. Unfortunately they combined with big exam halls.

@DigitalWizard great feedback! We will incorporate all of this into our next development cycle.

@googs1484 the level of noise is consistent with larger venues, e.g. London.
