WhatsApp groups - useful?

I see some people online sharing CFA-focused whatsapp groups, are they any use? I don't have any friends taking the CFA with me so I'm thinking of joining a few of these groups to see if it's useful, even for just from a social aspect.

Has anyone used a whatsapp group, and can recommend a group? Thanks.

also curious @edg94, if it's useful or more of a distraction, especially when the group is so large?

I joined one. It wasn’t useful for me because there were just too many messages and very disorganized. I left it, couldn’t find another one so left it at that.

I wouldn’t recommend it personally.
