To be honest it seems to me like you’ll just need to keep on plugging. Given that you’ve already passed all 3 CFA levels I think you’re good on the educational front for now. I’d focus on getting internships / placements / jobs rather than another course or qualification.

I have no relevant work experience. I am working as an IT recruiter for the past 18 months. I am applying for all junior level Finance positions in the tri state area, still no luck.

Hi,

I have completed all the 3 levels of CFA program in 2011. I don’t have any relevant work experience, because I didn’t have green card or work visa at that time. I got my green card in September 2014 and I am trying to get a job in Finance field with no luck since then. Can you please tell me what would be the best course of action for me? I tried to get into internships, but all of them want recent graduates or students. I would really like to use my educational qualification and get an entry level job in Finance. Do you think studying some Finance course would help me to get an internship? I would really appreciate your help.
